The ING Night Marathon Luxembourg is the largest sports event in the Grand Duchy - and yet scores points above all with its family atmosphere.
In a roaring marathon night, thousands of runners in colorful jerseys will once again stream through the streets of Luxembourg City on May 31, 2025. If you want to experience the city in its diversity and in a sea of lights in the evening, a bib for the ING Night Marathon Luxembourg is just the right thing.
The unique topography makes the route particularly varied and appealing - whether it's the Petrusse Valley, which carves its way through the middle of the city as a green gorge, or the historic fortifications, which nestle against the cliffs of the upper city.
Seven Disciplines – A Highlight for Everyone!
In addition to the marathon, half marathon and Team Run (a marathon as a relay with four participants), the 5K Run For Success will take place, where running beginners can try out and discover the marathon world.
There will also be a Minimarathon (for kids over 12) and a Mini Minimarathon (under 12) for the little running talents.
The Roll&Run offers sports enthusiasts on wheels a race over seven kilometers through the Limpertsberg district.
From Office to 42: Training with David
This year, the journey to your marathon dream begins earlier than ever! Starting December 2nd, you'll have a full six months to transform yourself and prepare for this extraordinary challenge. Whether you're an absolute beginner or returning to the sport, there's time to go from zero to conquering 42 kilometers.

Training takes place every Monday and Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in the Josy Barthel Stadium (outside the vacation season) and on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. in Wormeldange on the Moselle. And here's the most thrilling part: you’ll have the unforgettable opportunity to meet and train alongside German Olympic marathon runner Samuel Fitwi! Don’t miss this chance to be inspired by a champion.
